My full name is Jessica Rosine Thomas. Rosine means 'little rose' and at only 4ft 11 I'm pretty petite! Therefore the name Petite Rose Captures seemed fitting!
I married the love of my life in 2021 and we’ve recently renovated our new home which we share with our dog Penny, two snakes and four crested geckos.
I have lived in Taunton my whole life and have a real love for Somerset and it's beauty. But I also adore our neighbouring counties and the gorgeous backdrops and venues they offer.
As a family and documentary-style wedding photographer, I aim to create an experience that radiates authenticity, joy and elegance through various life stages from newborn to family and wedding photography in Somerset and beyond.
At the heart of my service is my commitment to make my clients feel at ease, capturing natural, stunning moments that reflect the unique beauty of their stories. My personalised approach ensures that my clients feel confident and relaxed, trusting me to capture their special moments.

Being a documentary photographer isn't just about having a keen eye for that perfect shot. Sure, my camera freezes your magical moments, but it's my bubbly personality that brings them to life. In fact, I reckon half my job is making sure you are at ease, smiling and generally having a blast on your special day.
