Carol & Kevin opted for a destination wedding in October. They married at the stunning Holy Trinity Church in Sliema, Malta. The ceremony was followed by a relaxed reception at Naar Restobar in St Julian’s.
Now living together in Taunton, Somerset the two originally met on a dating website. During their first date they quickly realised they were meant to be. It was a real love at first sight moment and they talked for hours during their first date.
Carol proposed to Kev using one of her late mother’s rings at Bovey Castle. This was a return trip to the first hotel Kev whisked her away to for a romantic getaway.
Malta holds a special place in Kev’s heart. His parents got married in the exact same church 70 years ago. Kev’s late father also played in the Royal Military band. Therefore getting married in Malta was a special way to incorporate him in the day.
Holy Trinity Church has a stunning garden within it’s grounds. It was the perfect backdrop for some gorgeous couple’s photos before we moved on to the reception by vintage bus!
Malta provided a stunning backdrop for further couples photos. The two intend to celebrate each and every anniversary out there together going forward.
